During this project we have created the monitoring of an industrial motor via a control screen,
The project was built with a Siemens S7-1200 programmable logic controller as well as a Siemens control screen and a frequency variator from Schneider Electric.
We created a PID regulation on the engine using the programming of the programmable logic controller and the frequency variator in order to regulate the engine as well as possible.
A visualization of the motor frequency curve could be seen on the control screen as well as different touch buttons programmed on it.
This project had to be done in groups of 4 in a short time, the programming of the programmable logic controller, the configuration of the frequency variator,
the programming of the control screen and the writing of the file had to be organised.
As the work had to be done in a short time with large groups, it was important to make sure that the project progressed well.
Tensions could come up in the group which was under pressure to meet the deadline, so we had to reorganise and review our way of
doing things several times in order to complete the project on time, what we have do.
